After completing my Animal Biology degree from the University of Stirling I was lucky to get a job at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat home where I worked for 4 years as a kennel assistant before moving on to Dogs Trust as an adoption advisor. During those years I worked with numerous different dog breeds, behaviours and temperaments. I’m a firm believer in Positive reinforcement training and am well trained myself in canine body language and health.

After branching out of the animal care industry for a brief period I soon realised that true happiness lies in doing something that you love. With encouragement from all my family and friends and inspired by my own amazing adventures with my rescue dog Scout, I set out on making my dreams come true and have launched Scout’s Wilderness Explorers.
